Culinary Director 

Sarah Briegel, Culinary Director at Crown Towers Sydney

Australian chef, Sarah Briegel, has been announced as the Culinary Director of Crown Towers Sydney.

Australian-born and raised, Briegel brings to the role twenty-seven years' experience working alongside the best in the business in kitchens across leading food capitals of the world including London, Hong Kong, Dubai, Bangkok, New York and Shanghai. Most recently, Briegel was Executive Chef at the Mandarin Oriental in Shanghai, a luxury 5-star hotel known for its innovative cuisine with its bars and restaurants frequently touted as amongst the best in the city.

In her role as Crown Towers Sydney Culinary Director, Briegel will develop and lead the culinary program across all aspects of the hotel offering including in-room dining, banquet events and functions.


Guillaume Brahimi, Culinary Ambassador at Crown Towers Sydney

Guillaume Brahimi, has been announced as Culinary Ambassador of Crown Towers Sydney.

French-born Brahimi trained under Michelin-starred chef Joel Robuchon in Paris before moving to Sydney in the 1990s, opening his acclaimed flagship restaurant - Guillaume at Bennelong - at the Sydney Opera House in 2001. Building on a relationship with Crown that spans eleven years and involves Brahimi having established two highly successful and eponymous restaurants – Bistro Guillaume – in both Melbourne and Perth with Crown, this latest extension of the partnership will see Brahimi work alongside Crown Sydney Culinary Director, Sarah Briegel, to help promote the precinct and the city more broadly as a major food destination for both local, interstate and international visitors. Brahimi will also play a key business advisory role to help shape future innovation in Crown Sydney’s offerings.
