A beloved Sydney dining institution returns to Sydney with the Wong family reopening the iconic Golden Century. Marking a new era of dining for Sydney.
Located on level 3 of Crown Sydney, continuing their 30 year legacy and reprising the original concept which has been unavailable to diners since their Sussex St location closed during Covid in 2021.
Billy Wong, co-owner of Golden Century, said of the opening: “We feel that we have a great synergy with Crown’s approach to hospitality - focusing on quality and the guest experience, making them feel welcome and at home. Golden Century is where it all began and we are excited to once again welcome in our loyal customers, serving our beloved Cantonese classics in a picture-perfect location that overlooks Sydney harbour and beyond.”

The menu pays homage to the original with a 10m long live seafood tanks, and a menu brimming with Golden Century’s signature dishes of live seafood from the tanks including XO pippies, live lobster cooked two ways, and abalone steamboat.

Booking policy

We take note of your table preference; however, table location is subject to change. Your seats will be held for 15 minutes post your reservation booking time. Should you wish to cancel or amend your reservation, please refer to your confirmation SMS or email.

The sale or transfer of this reservation is strictly prohibited.

Crown Sydney do not accept minors under 16 years old dining without a parent or guardian.

Cancellation policy

Credit card details are required to secure this reservation. No charges will be processed on your card at the time of booking. Should you wish to cancel or make changes, please refer to your confirmation SMS or email for simple adjustment options at least 12 hours prior to your reservation, or a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be charged to the card provided. For groups of 10 or more, we require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee of $50 per person.

Surcharge

A 1.15% surcharge applied for all credit card transactions. A 15% surcharge applies on Sundays. A 15% surcharge applies on all Public Holidays (one surcharge fee of 15% if Public Holiday falls on a Sunday). An additional service fee of 10% applies to bookings of 10 people or more.
