A celebration of the Italian art of living well, Vista’Mare Bar & Dining brings the energy of Italy’s great coastal bars to Sydney Harbour.

Located within Crown Sydney’s waterfront lobby and flowing onto one of the city’s most spectacular harbourfront terraces, Vista’Mare is an all-day destination for Italian breakfast, espresso, leisurely lunches, aperitivo, coastal dining and cocktails by the water.

Inspired by the effortless rhythm of Italian life, guests can settle in for a morning caffè, a leisurely lunch, an afternoon Spritz or late-night drinks overlooking the harbour.

At the heart of the experience is one of Italy’s most iconic cocktails: the Negroni. Vista’Mare’s signature collection reimagines the classic through the flavours and traditions of Italy’s diverse regions, from north to south, alongside a curated selection of wines, seasonal cocktails, and complemented by an all-day coastal-inspired menu.

Vista’Mare Bar & Dining introduces a new style of hospitality to Sydney: an Italian waterfront lobby bar where guests can gather from morning through to evening against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour.

The newest opening with the Italian Dining Hub at Crown Sydney, Vista’Mare brings the atmosphere of Italy’s great coastal bars to one of the city’s most spectacular waterfront settings: a place to gather over espresso, linger through lunch, enjoy aperitivo by the harbour and settle in for cocktails as the sun goes down.

Meet the Team

Andrea De Lucia

Born and raised in Rome, Andrea De Lucia brings a deep connection to Italy's culture, traditions and aperitivo lifestyle to his role as Head Bartender at Vista'Mare Bar & Dining.

Inspired by journeys across Italy, Andrea's cocktail program explores the country's diverse landscapes and regional identities through flavour. Signature regional Negronis sit at the heart of the offering, inviting guests to travel from north to south, one glass at a time.

Alessandro Pavoni

Vista’Mare Bar & Dining is led by Alessandro Pavoni and Executive Chef Giuseppe Fuzio. Inspired by Italy's coastline, the menu celebrates fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients and vibrant dishes designed to be shared and enjoyed by the water.

The result is a distinctly Italian experience that combines the energy of a waterfront bar, the conviviality of a neighbourhood piazza and the simple pleasure of living well.

Booking policy

We take note of your table preference; however, table location is subject to change. Your seats will be held for 15 minutes post your reservation booking time. Should you wish to cancel or amend your reservation, please refer to your confirmation SMS or email.

The sale or transfer of this reservation is strictly prohibited.

Crown Sydney do not accept minors under 16 years old dining without a parent or guardian.

Cancellation policy

Credit card details are required to secure this reservation. No charges will be processed on your card at the time of booking. Should you wish to cancel or make changes, please refer to your confirmation SMS or email for simple adjustment options at least 12 hours prior to your reservation, or a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be charged to the card provided. For groups of 10 or more, we require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee of $50 per person.

Surcharge

A 1.15% surcharge applied for all credit card transactions. A 10% surcharge applies on Saturdays. A 15% surcharge applies on Sundays. A 15% surcharge applies on all Public Holidays (one surcharge fee of 15% if Public Holiday falls on a Sunday). An additional service fee of 10% applies to bookings of 10 people or more.

Allergies & dietary requests

Due to the potential of trace allergens in the working environment and supplied ingredients, Crown Sydney cannot guarantee completely allergy-free dining experiences. Guests must advise the venue of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. 

Seafood country of origin

Crown participates in country of origin labelling for seafood. Due to a temporary shortage or change in our seafood supply, the seafood’s country of origin may change. Further information can be found at the restaurant.
